    What a depressing read!
It's very hard to find a positive in these transfer rumours.
How has it been allowed to get to this?

    Incoming...maybe...

"Gareth Ainsworth expects QPR to make at least one signing before next weekend’s game at Cardiff.

Rangers, beaten 4-0 at Watford on Saturday, want to sign Nottingham Forest centre-back Steve Cook, but wages are a potential barrier.

Several alternative signings are also on the radar and the need for reinforcements in that position is obvious as Jimmy Dunne and Jake Clarke-Salter are both out injured

“We’re definitely trying to get one in,” said boss Ainsworth, who last week missed out on the signing of Jack Whatmough, who opted to join Preston after leaving Wigan.

“With Jimmy and Jake being injured it’s really tough at the moment. We’re trying to get reinforcements in that area.

“It’s quite tough, but I think we can get another couple of free transfers in, which would be great, or even some for some small fees.

“Hopefully by next Saturday we’ll have made another signing, maybe another couple.”

Ainsworth admitted Rangers were no match for Watford, who scored all their goals in a totally one-sided first half.

He said: “Sometimes you have to hold your hands up and say we weren’t good enough.

“The boys gave everything and that’s what everyone’s asked [for]. They did give everything.

“On the day, Watford were much better than us. I think they played really well.”

Rangers stayed up by six points under boss Ainsworth last season and are among the favourites to go down this term.

They certainly looked like relegation material on Saturday."

I don’t think Kane will do an Mbappe if his move to Bayern doesn’t come off, but I would find it very funny if he stays another year at Spuds and helps them to a stunning 9th place finish then leaves for nothing. It would be good to see someone out Levy Levy.

Kane's far too classy to do that, unfortunately. As a Spuds lad he's loyal to the fans, even if he above all others deserves the chance to go somewhere and win trophies ! Levy is just a total cock

I just read Levy's first game at White Hart Lane as a kid was against us. Pity he never got the QPR bug!

    That would make it £18,456.78

I thought that was a typo surely. £1500 a month or £346.15 a week. It is so out of kilter with the others.

    Of course.

But £18k a week is a bit much the other way. I don’t actually believe any of these figures.

He would be daft not to and one I wouldn't hold any grudges against for doing so.

    Me neither.
I think he's one of those players who would benefit from having better players around him and could do a job in the Premier League.

I've seen a lot worse players in his position in the premier League. I'm sure he wouldn't have a problem playing there

Totally agree. I hope he stays but can't blame him if he does go. His career is going nowhere with us
