Horror drop from Overton - both in terms of how easy it was, and how many runs Brook went onto score. Fingers crossed with Jordan will back soon. Benny seemingly back to his best with the ball, after an iffy-Blast (maybe due to a lack of sharpness following his injury). On paper, Phoenix look way better than us (and maybe every other side). And that's even without Woakes (who would presumably replace Helm, if the ECB make him available). They have so many bowling options, whilst still maintaining good batting depth, that Moeen, Livingstone and Mousley only needed to bowl five balls combined. Whereas we gave 15 balls to David and Du Plooy! That said, the partnership between Overton and Mir has given Manchester something decent to bowl at.
