I can understand Luke Wood getting in. He was particularly good against Superchargers. But Sam Cook hasn't really been on it (in the 100 or the Blast).

Their next game (which is very close to being a must-win for them now) is only two days away. So for them to release him to play tomorrow suggests that they have little inclination of playing him on Monday - which is baffling.
 
Big swing in NRR. We were 1.56 behind them, now we're 0.329 ahead of them.

Four days until our next game, so hopefully that's enough time to get Vince and Jordan back.
 
No Turner in the XI. Maybe Rockets had a late change of heart, and decided they do want him for tomorrow. Would make sense.

He'd probably have made 100 if they'd had the full 100 balls to bat.
 
The consolation is Notts throwing away two points, when they had their run chase totally under control.
 
Yet another outstanding one-day performance from Middlesex, narrowly losing by around 140 runs to Kent. While other teams have lost six, seven or eight players to The Hundred, or England, Middlesex have got away relatively lightly. Compared with Hampshire and a few other countries they have seasoned players available. Trouble is they are not that good. As I have alluded to here, I feel their hierarchy are living in the past re recruitment and ethos. The Hampshire owner would not stand for the performances Middlesex are giving, of that I.sm.sure!!
 
Assuming that injury has ended Cox's tournament, Oval are going to want Atkinson and Tom Curran back from their own injuries asap.

Muyeye, Whiteley, Zampa and Chappell is a bit of come down from Cox, Curran, Narine and Atkinson. (And even Zampa will only be joining for two games, before he leaves again.)
