Good to play as many of the 'harder' games as possible early I think. Really hoping we can get off to a good start against Villa. I have no doubt it will be a tricky game though.

What are peoples predicted lines ups - not what you think is the strongest XI but who will start vs Villa? Have Anderson and/or Barnes done enough to get a start, back 5 select themselves but Schar out possibly, will Eddie throw the new boys in the ddep end or give them more bedding in time? Starting: Pope, Trippier, Botman, Burn, Targett, Tonali, Bruno, Joelinton, Almiron, Isak, Barnes Bench: Dubravka, Livarmento*, Lascelles, Schar/Dummy, Longstaff, Anderson, Murphy, Gordon, Wilson (best ever bench?) Schar starts if he's fit but think Eddie will try and protect him for a long season. Barnes looked sharp against Villareal and his brace sneaks him in ahead of Anderson for me. Think its harsh on Anderson to not make the starting squad after his preseason but he will get plenty of opportunities this season.
