Sounds great, anything that makes the concourse less crowded is good news. Are they going to publish the proposals so we can have a look?

Yeah. I knew they had plans and had loads of structural drawings and stuff done. But wasn't sure what the end game was. Good to see that Bob has provided some context. Timings will be an interesting one too.
If its an extension there should be plans and stuff on the council planning portal.

Might just be feasibility studies at this stage though?

Yeah. I thought it was just early proposals but Bob seems to refer to it being more advanced.

been in a pipeline for a while the had a structural engineer in checking the steels , a lot of it has to do with the mags aswell. and music, club trying to keep one step head and keep sunderland the northeast hotspot for music

thought it might of went out the window, with not winning the bid for the euros, hopefully it happens, needs it

Sounds like early stage 1 maybe 2 of the process. Long way to go before it gets built if normal process is followed.

The plans at the minute are probably some architects wet dream, it will probably be very different by the time costs are taken into account and Main Contractors have done their "value engineering"

Building a second tier ? Would lift the ssol to mid 50k :emoticon-0103-cool:

Just in planning could take a while, but it's a goer.
Funny those sad SMB lot just seem happy to slag off owt I post, that's why I came over here.

Correct, I was massacred for posting the feasibility studies of FPP and the ideas they had. They'd been to SJP, to see Ashley, and were shocked by the hospitality areas of the SOL ....

.... it would've been a priority if Donald had gone through with the sale.

Absolutely no way they extend the east stand and leave the south stand as it is. From a built point so much easier to put it on the south stand. Still including the stuff mentioned. Would look worse than the mags ground for being unbalanced

Fair point tbf

Same reason I left mate, if someone disagrees with your opinion they can only reply with an insult, we all have different options on here but seem quite able to discuss them, over there its just an insult
