I know absolutely nothing about Andre, but he's who I hope we sign... His name starts with the same letter as Ahmed and he's Brazilian, good enough for me! Screw Soton and their £50million demands!
Boo! I'm over Lavia already. Don't like overpaying on risky teenagers unless they're really something special and from what little I've seen of Lavia, he's good for his age, but not that special.
nope. the conspiratorial nature of brighton and Chelsea making up fees for sanchez and caicedo together so the club who has a sell on fee is robbed blind means nobody but Chelsea are getting him. btw it's an unnamed club that bid but apparently they know its a prem club but not us. it's a classic guessing game
excellent. Brighton might get the fee in about a year's time hudging by how it seems to go. they should bid on lavia ASAP.
Steve Gerard was 18 when he started playing big. Lavia can be a good buy, also can be an expensive mistake.
I thought fabinho was bought by an official state owned pif club? Henderson was one of the under class clubs. what are newcastle then? infidel dog club?
I think all the clubs are owned in some way by the state/Royal family The one Henderson has gone to is owned by the Ministry of Sport. There are 4 that are funded via the PIF, Fabinho has gone to one of them. Newcastle are the PR club, prove that Saudi Arabia is just like the English Common man who loves football and the underdog.
yeah, it's really odd watching Chelsea via some.unknown level of Saudi ownership (don't believe a bar of the 5% line) break very ffp rule and then transfer players out conviently but see Newcastle as their supposed actual club playing the ffp card. as of today that newcastle line should not get top 4, it really shouldn't.
Howe did an outstanding job in fairness, the achievement deserved more praise. Even if it was largely unwatchable dogshit!
they had 38 games and a long break in the middle to work in as he hadn't too many off on world cupping. the leavue cup was a good run but otherwise they really had 1 game was week to park the bus in. with 2 games per week and no breaks in the season, AND a lot more competition they do not look like they will be any better next season and honestly probably worse. it has to be noted we were the only side to beat them twice. I don't think city dis so there's a lot of scope for newcatle to just slip back down.
