Ah right, so i still have to select the card in the wallet. Thank you.

Now probably a really.stupod question. My normal bank card is contact less, bit every so often I have to put my pin in for transactions (for security I think)

How do i do that with my phone or do I have to still carry my bank card?
You don't need to put your pin in when you pay for stuff using your phone. You will need to have your phone screen unlocked though and NFC turned on. People have loads of different bank cards, credit cards, store cards, loyalty cards etc loaded into wallet so just swipe to the relevant one depending on where you are I.e. at the match or at a checkout.

Sometimes when I use my contactless bank card it asks me to insert it and put the pin in, this is a security feature deployed by the banks just to make sure it hasn't been nicked

My physical bank card does the same, which makes sense.

I can't out my phone into anything if it will still do the same every x amounts of transactions, so I'm thinking I still need to carry my bank card?

Nah, my phone has worked every time with contactless. Unlocking your phone (either with fingerprint, phone pin or face recognition) will count as the extra level of security.

Right techy help needed please as my new phone is coming today and apparently its got all the bells and whistles for this digital malarkey.

I download my digital ticket to my Google wallet (like I did on the old one, was easy)

Then I'm hoping it tells me to turn on NFC and I'm good to go?

Then if I want to be proper hip, I can add a bank card to it as well I think? Which I can then just unlock and tap at a contact less reader like a normal card?

IF I manage to do that, how will my phone know when I'm trying to pay for something with a card and when I'm at the turnstile?
enjoy your new phone maté hopefully you get hang of it easily

So I think I've got this sorted.

I deleted the original wallet thing from my old phone and I have been able to add the digital season card I shouldn't have into the new Google wallet.

It's sat there now a lovely yellow colour and all seems good with a little contacless logo above it and if I turn nfc off I get a qr code.

So that's me all good to go?

Which one do I use Sunday and does this mean I can have a digital ticket for the Crewe game
