You don't need to put your pin in when you pay for stuff using your phone. You will need to have your phone screen unlocked though and NFC turned on. People have loads of different bank cards, credit cards, store cards, loyalty cards etc loaded into wallet so just swipe to the relevant one depending on where you are I.e. at the match or at a checkout. Sometimes when I use my contactless bank card it asks me to insert it and put the pin in, this is a security feature deployed by the banks just to make sure it hasn't been nicked
My physical bank card does the same, which makes sense. I can't out my phone into anything if it will still do the same every x amounts of transactions, so I'm thinking I still need to carry my bank card?
Nah, my phone has worked every time with contactless. Unlocking your phone (either with fingerprint, phone pin or face recognition) will count as the extra level of security.
It's arrived and managed to get it set up with contacts and the easy stuff. Now to tackle this wallet lark
So I think I've got this sorted. I deleted the original wallet thing from my old phone and I have been able to add the digital season card I shouldn't have into the new Google wallet. It's sat there now a lovely yellow colour and all seems good with a little contacless logo above it and if I turn nfc off I get a qr code. So that's me all good to go? Which one do I use Sunday and does this mean I can have a digital ticket for the Crewe game
use the digital ticket mate you should be fine but you know you got qr code in case it don't work and yes you can use digital for Crewe game
