i see barca have started bleeting that Bale is'nt worth £35 million, just like they did about Fabregas.I agree he's not worth 35 million,he's worth a hell of a lot more.try 60 million.
Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has told Tottenham that their highly-coveted midfielder Gareth Bale is not worth £34m.

Carrick - £18m+ - Bought for £2.75m
In that case, Carrick was in the final year of his contract - but, on the other hand we bungled renegotiations so badly that, even though he wanted to stay, he left.
Are you saying Carrick wanted to stay at Spurs? If so, that isn't my recollection. His head was turned by typical Utd tapping up, and refused to negotiate an extension.
Daily Express said:Fulham want to take Tottenham's young midfielder Tom Carroll on loan in January.

If a player is having their head turned, it's usually not a good idea to bodge contract talks...
Seems Levy has come to terms with that side of the business now.Interesting, thanks.Seems Levy has come to terms with that side of the business now.
He thinks because the Goons rolled over that we eventually will too.
OMG what a plank!
Someone should tell him that we aren't a selling club any more- even to the great Barca.
We didn't roll over for Barca, but we did get shafted over Fabregas. Basically it was a unique situation, the player wanted to go home to his boyhood club, so no other club could come in with a bid and push up the price to a realistic value. Barca exploited the situation and mugged us for Fabregas. In an open market, he would have been worth £60m. Barca use thier unique appeal (most players want to play for them) to drive down prices.
well lennypops on the beeb site Fulham want to loan Carroll, but is'nt he part of the europa squad
