Wonder how long these new ideas to compact time wasting will last ? https://www.skysports.com/amp/footb...d-for-accurate-calculation-of-additional-time
It will come down to fair play points, i.e. the fewest yellow and red cards. China have had a red card so far, Denmark one YC and England two YCs. All a bit tight. After that they draw lots.
Complete form reversal for Norway in the Women's world cup - going from no goals in two matches to six in their third, helping them take second spot ahead of the Kiwis. If it were racing instead of football, I'm sure there'd be a steward's enquiry...
The only steward's enquiry would be why Hannah Wilkinson is always being picked. Again she ran around a lot, usually to where the ball wasn't, but didn't do much else.
Did she change her name from Ignacio Pussetto? A bit of shock result from Japan now - thumping Spain 4-0. I doubt too many would have seen that coming...
England did well to get through with some comfort. Canada, Brazil, Italy and now Germany all out whilst the USA just about got through. Germans suffering flash backs to 2018 and the Mens world cup.
A few of our lot could do with learning something from this!. One thing to give constructive criticism about a players performance but another to personally targeted them https://www.theplayerstribune.com/posts/aaron-ramsdale-premier-league-arsenal-soccer-england
Saints toying with Sheff Wed - making them look very poor. I wonder how long Munoz will last there if they keep playing like this?
Yes although not sure it was warranted as Southampton were dominate so there wasn’t a lot of time wasting . Suspect the ref wanted to just show he was up to speed with the guidelines. Couple of bookings for kicking the ball away but how long will that last !
Tbf Southampton saw it out well but will teams keep time wasting regardless till the ref has enough . The trouble will be when someone scores a vital goal in the 101st minute . The other team will go mad.
