More seriously, he seems to constantly pop up in the right place at the right time. He's still only 20, but he's forged his place in the side and is very versatile.

Thanks Rick. At his age, and now experience. I have reasonably high hopes for him.

(That Robbie guy is probably on his third bottle of wine by now. ;))

The Sara video doesn't do justice to the kick, as apparently it swerved to the left and then back to the right to tuck into the bottom corner. The Toulouse players look dumbstruck when it goes in.

Dassnacht is about the only player who doesn't move as he waits for the ball to reach him then bends and heads the ball inside the post. Cool, calm and collected.

Gunn
Stacey Duffy Gibson Giannoulis
Fassnacht Sara McLean Hernandez
Barnes Sargent

First choice XI today by the looks?

Tzolis, Rashica, Aarons all missing from the bench.

Sargent's "chance" preceding the goal illustrated Klopp's dictum that "a good pressing situation is better than any playmaker". The chance came from pinning Olympiacos back in their own penalty area; they simply couldn't escape. Also good to see both Duffy and Gibson holding a high line on halfway during that passage of play.

Mildly interesting that Placheta is off the bench at LB ahead of McCallum.
