I've vague recollections of him being used there in previous pre-seasons, and I think when he first signed the Polish journalists seemed to think he might find that's his best position long term. I think it's more likely just putting warm bodies where we need them though rather than any long term planning.

I think he played a few games at LWB for Birmingham as well

Núñez, Sara and Fassnacht coming on injected real quality and urgency, which produced the goals; Gibbs was like the Duracell Bunny, just kept on going; and young Fisher looks a really good acquisiton. Presumably, on Saturday, we'll see a proper match.
