Press are linking Fraser with a move to either Celtic or Leeds

Don't know how credible the reports are but really hope he goes to one of them soon.

I'm not fraser fan but the likes of Ritchie are worse players. I can only assume Newcastle still gave a surprise or two for us before yhe window closes.

With the current squad, what would you're line up be for Villa?

Pope

Trippier Schar Botman Burn

Bruno Tonali Joelinton

Almiron Isak Gordon

Possibly. It partly depends on whether Eddie feels Tonali & Barnes are ready to go straight in, or if he does his usual of holding off from throwing newbies straight into the Prem.

While Tonali adds to Eddie's options, I think he might also present a bit of a headache for both player selection and tactical formation. From what I've seen, his best position is the same as Bruno's.
So will Eddie play one of them on the right, in the role Longstaff had last season?
Or will he switch away from his 433 and use Bruno & Tonali in more of a double pivot?

Neither of those 2 will be happy on the bench, so it will be interesting to see how things shape up (injuries and suspensions aside, of course).

And don't forget Hendrick, conundrums right enough.

They'd need to change the rules to be 50 players a side before he gets a look in for us again.

Sorry if I'm wrong about this, but so far, at this point in time, I currently think that... even I'm ahead of Hendrick in our squad.
Seriously though we have a lot of midfielders and big decisions.

Don't think I'd start given his poor performances most notably against villa... he got absolutely rinsed by Beundia.

Otherwise I think that's the team that will start... I'm hoping willock gets some minutes in the sela Cup.

We played odd tactics with only two central midfielders. We still have a couple of games to go

True I'd like to see tonali Bruno and Joelinton next Saturday.

Joelinton has been ****e mind .... I very much doubt howe will risk playing Tonali or Barnes.... I know people like licking Tonalis miserable looking arse, but he's looked way off the pace the last two matches... needs time.
