All these games are friendlies so you'd want to be pretty stupid to be going full throttle and risking injury,I'll give my verdict after a few proper games.

 

Pretty sure I saw an interview in the week saying Howe wanted 2 defenders in before the end of the window - assume that's a LB and RCB

 

Yup to replace the dross in those two positions

Tonali has to be the anchor man, that's his position, Bruno the more attacking playmaker and big Joe all over the place in his body guard role.

 

On the evidence of the last 2 games I wouldn't want him dm... he was absolutely rinsed by Beundia twice.

I would guess EH will do the same as he did with Bruno, Botman and is with Gordon and ease Tonali into the team whilst he gets used ro the speed of the Premier League.

 

Indeed although longstaff and willock won't be fully fit, so it might leave howe with litte choice.

 

I'm not sure about a front 3 without Wilson either... at least part of the fwd line needs strength... .. Gordon isak and almiron are all made of thin air.

 

If you think that then we need a new striker as Callum Wilson can’t pay a whole PL season on its own let alone the added competitions
