Anyone comparing Johnson to any other politician is as deluded as a Mag ...

... it's like comparing a registered patio builder to Fred West.

I would imagine all mp’s are millionaires now, and there is the problem in my opinion, they might spout and preach about the struggles of the working class people but in reality they don’t have a clue,i personally think some mp’s are more delusional, detached and richer (Tories)than the rest but ultimately they don’t speak our language, not since Skinner left for sure

I dont agree with you on Sunak to be honest. I think he is a man endeavouring to make amends for some of the recent trauma his party have caused. He is quietly going about his business and making some steady inroads and progress in some ways. None of it is glamorous, but it is competent, and not everything he is doing is right. We have a % of the population clamouring though to see him as a rich tory who doesnt care, and in my opinion hold things like his swimming pool, private jets and the like against him. If he took all of those things away it would not make him a more effective PM in any way shape or form. It might make him appear more like he understands what a struggle for families today looks like, but I dont see many politicians showing that sort of empathy, with or without millions in the bank. Most of this is driven by a media that have been unwilling to look beyond Johnson and all of his disruption. I dont blame them for that, to a point as he is still in the spotlight sadly, although a more educated media wouldnt go amiss. When you have opinion writers in places like the Guardian calling him Rish! without any question it makes you wonder. The fact he served under Johnson is a stock response and therefore he cant be trusted. I dont agree with that. If it is the case we have to call out Starmer who happily served under Corbyn.

In my opinion, since Sunak got in Labour have feared a degree of competence in government. This would mean their golden ticket wouldnt be so certain, i.e. they might have to present some sort of coherent plan. Instead they have resorted to the sort of politics that saw them slap posters around saying Sunak didnt want child sex offenders to go to prison. It continues to this day, with way too much beinh about how bad Sunak is, and not enough about how good they are. Even Tony Blair being wheeled out to prop up Starmer is now in play. They are so insecure it makes me fear for what will come when they are in power. Another hopeless lot, but without the sleaze, wont help our schools much, for example.

I read a media headline today that the election wont be about ULEZ but a referendum on Sunak. Honestly makes me want to cry if that is how our media feel a general election should be viewed. We will never improve as a country, or give our kids a better life chance, if that is how politics work in this country. We need to vote for policy, not personality, real or imagined.

I don't think he could care less about 'the good name of the party' ...

... he just seems to want to be the President imo.

This columnist must be thicker than a whale omelette if he can’t see the difference between the two.

Aye for it to be even remotely similar it would be like Starmer giving the job to an unknown family member. That just an example, I’m not suggesting anything there.

Sunak is responsible for Braverman’s hate fuelled policies and refusing to take money from where there is excess to help people in crisis. For me he continues the zero ethics power first inequality party.,
