What a fantastic Wimbledon final. A true epic. Djokovic clearly confirmed the pre-match expectation that he would start much the stronger, against his inexperienced rival. The greatest player of all time, with age starting to take its toll against a 20 year old genius, who just happens to be the world No1. Alcaraz is an absolutely incredible talent and it was great to see him grow into the match. Brilliant interview with Djokovic at the end. Incredibly generous towards his opponent. Thoroughly enjoyed it, but why wasn’t McEnroe commentating? Most knowledgeable by far.
McEnroe was commentating on America coverage, agree that was a great match & both players so quick around the court, What a talent Acaraz is & thought he would a tough challenge for Novak

So we have these clubs undertaking huge amounts of travel to fulfill sponsorship deals and yet the same teams will by the end of September start complaining about the amount of games they have to play and the amount of travel they have to do and how all the players are tired so they can justify putting out academy players in the domestic cup competitions........ well here's an idea go to Cornwall or Scotland for your pre season games......... It'll never catch on......
