Transfer Rumours Let's ignore the big ****ing elephant and blame the latest manager, again. Are we nearly there yet?

Many people have the notion that Serie A is a defensive league and that defenders in Italy are the dog's bollocks, but that isn't true. Serie A has the highest goals per game ration in the top five European leagues so to be the top stopper in that league is no mean feat. I'm sure there will be a mix of comedy moments and ridiculous howlers - as there are with any new keepers, but as has been said, ETH knows him from the very recent past.

I just hope we now move on to actually buying a striker.

It's certainly different... going for one player at a time, but that seems to be the way at the moment.

Maybe it's the fact we're not entertaining piss taking valuations from selling clubs. What's the price United have been quoted for Hojlund now? £150 million probably.

If West Ham want Maguire they can pay for him, they've just trousered £110 million from Arsenal ffs.

Absolutely bizarre the idea of a loan is being touted. It's not like he'd ever come back if he does go off to West Ham.

Oh, and Vamos. <ok>
It's been reported since January that we're on UEFA's FFP watchlist, so we won't be buying him or paying all of his ridiculous wage either.

Spurs also apparently interested.

Now this could be the usual gossip bollocks, but he's better than any of their current centre halves so don't see why they wouldn't be.

We should pitch his fee as very low indeed, then match whatever it is Bayern are offering for Kane.

Spurs essentially get a free centre half.

They did this last season, and we ended up making the necessary signings for that summer window.

I suppose this year it's now a case of seeing what's left, and trying to top it up with sales.

Fred, Maguire, McTominay could all bring a fee in.

The guy has barely played one season with 9 league goals and yet he’s been quoted at £50m. But to be fair to him, he does look strong, fast and good link up play. But I think we need a finished article up front as opposed to another wait and see.

Add Henderson to that. Looking like he could be off to Forest.

The asking price is ridiculous. How is €70m justified for what is essentially an unknown scenario? We’ve bought hype from Atalanta before that didn’t turn out too well. Might as well go for someone like Toney who is still in his prime, knows the league and will get 25 goals. We can manage until January which means we may be able to even get him at cut price given the suspension.

We have re-signed Jonny Evans from Leicester on a short terms deal as additional defensive cover. Good move.
Great move indeed! He will make a good squad player without any pressure to give him game starting time.

I guess the manager must think that Evans is perhaps a better option than having a so-called captain that leads from the backline with misplaced feet and head that end up costing us crucial games. BUT let's wait for more evidence because I can't see anywhere that the manager hasn't outrightly come out to call him a donkey. He is surely well regarded!

It's great to see how the Rashford situation played out. In the end, he wouldn't have got any more from PSG or anywhere else. Even worse, he would have had to start all over again. There simply was no incentive for him to leave even as his contract was winding down.

Conversely, I wouldn't be surprised if Kane decides to stay in Tottenham without extending his deal to cut himself loose from Levy for free. It will be a massive win for him as a player to snatch himself off that arrogant prick.

You're right yeah, Maguire should just be sacked and booed by his own 'support' for commiting the crime of not being first choice and being paid too much.

You got it.

****er.

Everything that is ****e about TV clapper United 'fans', right there.

Yeah, Toney is a safe bet.
