    I think we need to examine Schlems pics a bit closer, there wasn't a leak spurting out in that last pic, I reckon he put his spade through it. <whistle>

    All done now. They were on a job around the corner so they popped around and fixed it. Took all of five minutes.
    Got them to replace the full length, less ****ty fifty year old pipe to go pop in the future.

    bit premature since he still has to fill it in yet .

    Just have this vision of in a years time Mrs Schlem stepping out of the house and a scream of "are you ever going to fill this ****ing hole" ringing round the neighbourhood :bandit:

    Painting my son's room starts today, removed a load of bolts that were in the wall got a couple of rawl plugs to remove and polyfilla to do then sand it down. By the time I've done this and bought the paint I can't see any actual paint hitting the walls today.

    They're designed for plasterboard walls so should have been a piece of piss to push into the cavity.

    It doesn't happen they are locked in there. I won't use them again unless I'm sure I won't have to take them out, good bit of kit if you don't want to take them out. Maybe a screwdriver and hammer. Anyway they are out now and polyfilla in. Swans down and second coat on ceiling tomorrow.
