And he seems to bag about 3 or 4 goals per season, so does that mean we might get ourselves a defender who can actually cause a threat from our set pieces?

I don't think they'll get relegated but I have a feeling they'll be in the bottom 3 after 3 games and It'll be a struggle in comparison to last season.
I think top 10 would be about right unless they bring in 3 or 4 top players.

Same here. IF we do sign him, I'm claiming another point in the transfer bingo thread as one I'd not heard if before the transfer window started.
Hopefully the man city case concludes soon and if they just get fined we should just sign every **** for 150 million and **** ffp.
I think we are being careful just incase they do get points deduction/demotion.

Never liked FFP even before the takeover because it was obvious it's the very opposite of fair. A rule brought in to kill competition.
