He's looked absolutely class in Serie A this season as Napoli won the title. Possibly their best player (there's one or two who could claim that in fairness) and known locally as Kvaradonna. I don't see any chance of this happening unless they are in financial difficulties I don't know of. I suspect they'd only sell for totally silly money (like £120m+) and although £80m is a lot it's probably just market value.
The fact the story says newcastle have bid 81 million but will pay 85 if its rejected tells you everything you need to know ... horseshit. Oh we'd like to buy your player for 81 million , but hey if you reject it we will offer you 85 million instead... ffs
maybe the PIF plan with Diaby is to force villa to pay well over the odds in a bidding war. If he goes to Saudi then he could come to us next summer….
