Also just from a squad size perspective - I have done a rough mapping of ins vs outs to see where we are purely from a numbers perspective (I am NOT saying theyre the same type or quality of player). It also doesn't take into account where we were short or well stocked previously.

    GK (-1)
    Lost Bass --> Need replacement

CB (+1 but were short before)
Lost Wright --> Replaced with Seelt
    Signed Triantis

    Full Backs (no change)

    CM (equal)
Lost Michut --> Replaced with Matete

    CAM (+1)
    Signed Jobe

    Wingers (-1)
    Lost Amad

Strikers (equal, but were short before)
Lost Gelhardt --> Replaced with Hemir

Based on the above the priorities would be a GK and a winger. But arguably the likes of Lihadji and Bennette could be seen as new signings on the wing as they barely played.

On the goal keeper front surely it’s got to be someone older who’s ok to play 2nd fiddle to Patto any names we can put to this ?

Only has a year left, they triggered an extension so will likely be a small fee

Assuming so yeah wouldn’t make any sense to loan us a back up keeper, no idea if he’s any good mind hoping he’s Atleast ambitious enough to try and push Patto for a place

I would like another striker. Stewart still injured and he could have a set back. I don’t know how good the new lad is yet, too early to judge. As we saw with Simms last year though, we ended up with both out and I’d like the option where required to have 2 proper strikers on the pitch, especially if chasing a game. So maybe an established striker and even someone for the future would be ideal, to give us 4 options.

What I was thinking as well as he doesn’t seem to have too many first team stats available

If we assume Rosco will be available and ready to go,we will still need at least one more recognised striker. If he's not,we're going to need two.The increase in subs allows a bigger choice of replacements and we need to be able to use options. We've gone to America with only one striker, ffs.

Even so I would have thought a solid championship level veteran would have been the way forward as backup to Patterson. I imagine any young talent would join with the intention of fighting for a place then leave after a couple of years, similar to Bass.
