Live on BBC 2 Fc v Leeds at Huddersfield, Cup game. Fc lost and Fc fans invaded the pitch at the end taunting the Leeds fans and then tore the goal posts down. Who got the blame? Hull City fans who it was claimed on BBC radio rugby had broken into the Fc club shop the night before, stole a selection of replica shirts going back a number of years, then travelled to Huddersfield wearing them to cause trouble at a rugby league match. Of course HDM went along with this and as usual, and RL fans came out of it stinking of roses and hypocricy.
Someone phoned in to Dave Gibbins and said they had heard from somebody who knew somebody who had been told by someone else that City fans had broken into the club shop and stolen 75 FC shirts. The eejit said that sounded plausible. I phoned in said if that was the case the police would be able to confirm as £75 shirts were a fair bit so FC would have need a crime number for the insurance claim. Quickly got shunted off. A Leeds RL fan out it to bed when he rang in saying City fans must have been planning it for years and staged a number of break ins as there were people on the pitch causing trouble and wrecking the goalposts with shirts going back from 5 and 6 seasons ago,
No names mentioned and no argument sought but wasn't their a discussion last week about us having a journalistic/newspaper reporter figure, within the cabal, who successfully promotes the Club in various ways?
My Father in Law ran onto the pitch that day to help clear the Hull Fans off the pitch and help the coppers. He got whacked by a batton for his trouble. Had to explain he was the Hull Coach!!
Hard to say which of that one and Baz spends the most time on twitter. Meanwhile every little thing about RL including transfers between Aussie clubs is on the site.
Far to busy finding the best chippy, lap dancing club, carvery venue and other such mundane ****e to report on anything about City.
Or last weeks classic.....Hull's best independent shop........and they awarded it to one that has only been open 3 months.
I'm still torn on what grinds me the most...A 'twat' of tweeters OR A 'whinge' of whatsappers?? There's only one thing in life that tops both...A 'village' of Verns but that's for another day!!

That story always made me laugh. That element of City’s support don’t even wear City shirts to City matches. The way they dress at football is how they dress day to day. Why in god’s name they’d feel compelled to wear Hull shirts for Hull match is beyond me.
They'll be whinging in there, Ferensway and Anlaby Road is having a power outage at the moment, lights back on for 22:00. In Rovertiger's case lights back on sometime never. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
And of course it wasnt rigged was it? How can a retail, business that has only been open for three months be the 'best independent shop in Hull' ? It was as public a vote as the the one ran by the Allams about the name change. I have first hand experience of these on line voting polls. No one checks who has voted. I know of one organised, in good faith, by a prominent local MP were the 'winner' sat up all night voting for his own business. I know this because he told me so. Be honest OLM, do you honestly believe the winner of this comical Hull Live 'vote' is truly the best independent shop in Hull?
