Not quite mate. They were seventeen at the start, so over the age of consent ... ... but thankfully there's a law to protect under 18's on social media, etc.
Well if it turns out as grim as it seems based on what is reported so far, a prison sentence would seem right to me. I just find it sickening, paying for photos. This has struck a nerve for me.
I totally agree. There's a degree of uncontrollable passion in a face to face scenario but this is totally cold and calculating. If the images were passed on that makes it twice the crime imo.
problem is though, as much as we would say it is wrong, the younger generation seem to feel quite happy to show thier bodies of and many a time quite happy to let others watch them have sex...as long as money changes hands (only fans appears to be popular with some) and i may be old fashioned but in my eyes giving money for sexual acts was always prostitution. so being 'on the game' these days means making lots of money and not having to work...being honest, if i had a decent pair of norks i would be doing it as well, moobs dont seem to get the same viewing figures.
The BBC though, does not have to sing for its supper, which is why it is so complacent and why this scandal is just one of a number. Its revenue is close to £4bn a year, almost all of which is payed at point of law. If they charged say, £10 a month for it, I would pay it, though I don't watch it much. Most would pay it. But the forced payment system, impacting poorer people most, in the 21st century, is completely unacceptable, and in the long term, untenable. They could slim down by massive amounts, do less, charge openly.
