Its pre-season, players are bound to be rusty.

Plus O’Nein is playing in between a centre halve and a left back he’s not really played alongside before. I’m not worried at all.

Hemir looks decent, so does Matete

It’s only pre-season it’s not exactly meaningful but it’s worrying that he still gets caught out exactly the same way when he’s playing against semi-professional opposition.. twice. He can’t deal with balls in behind or being ran at.

He's just spent a season in the championship defending superbly including dealing well with both of those things, so I'm not worried about what he does in preseason.

Think that’s a bit harsh mind, he’s been superb 90% of the time he has played imo.

Saying that it doesn’t matter who it is at this stage I’m not worried…will wait until the season starts to properly look at performances.

He just hasn’t though, he done a job because we had nobody else fit. He gets judged off our fanbase based on his personality rather than his ability. Get on YouTube and watch highlights of our games last season, you’ll realise how many goals he was at fault for.

i like this approach, get some minutes into the legs and time for some of the younger lads to get out and show hat they can do..the 'double game' will give even more a chance.
