That's the 2 signed from last Friday's WoL article. On the money so far.

Will the Nigerian winger from CSKA Moscow be next, then Ramsey?

Read about Goutas this morning.
Im hoping these are players Erol knows and trusts.
Still a bit concerned that Colin signed players for his style, as did MM, as did Morison (Hudson didnt get a chance and the last guy only signed loans I think) and now Erol.
Stuck record time. We need a long term strategy.

Anyway, so far so good

Yep, trying to look on the positive side, we've now signed (or as good as signed) 2 international standard players (Canada & Greece)... That can't be too bad... and if he has one eye on the goal scoring capabilities of defenders then I'm happy with that too so long as they can manage to make tackles and get blocks in down the other end!! Maybe we're going to become a team that just tries to outscore the opposition?? VT would be happy with that, he likes goals and shots by all accounts :emoticon-0138-think

I would prefer Allsop to stay in his own penalty area. Pat Jennings he is not.

Has a record of goal scoring from set pieces. If McGuinness can keep his form from the friendlies we will become a real threat in that area again.

Accurate crossing needed plus someone with a good long throw - not dry towel assisted.

However the ability to score from open play will be a bit of a help as well. <whistle>

Just need to hope no-one gazumps us to him!!
Two things when I read the article.
Firstly, for a player who hasn't long moved for €12M, there must be clubs further up the food chain looking at him on a free.
Secondly, a player who moved for €12M is likely to command a reasonable wage.
Either way, we'll be lucky to land him.

I thought the same although didn't Everton pay about £13m for the plum we had on loan who couldn't hit a cow's ar$e with a banjo? Omar Niasse. Apologies for reminding everyone about him.

To quote a much used phrase from Brizzle's part of the world, "In Bulut we trust".

The way the squad appears to be shaping up leads to one issue. There are a lot of players in the squad.

Surely he’s going to have to either offload or loan some out. If he wants some guidance then he can ditch Ojo Sawyers Rhinomota Alnwick and Simpson<whistle>
