Obviously the game will be about building finess, but Wagner has certainly been working them hard: "City's boss has introduced triple sessions starting at 7am and ending in the early part of the evening as he continues in his quest of ensuring his side are the fittest in the division next season. The emphasis will be on their physical condition rather than on experimenting on fresh tactical ideas or chasing performances and results. Those latter aspects will enter the thinking of Wagner and his staff as they head deeper into their preparations."
So 4-2-3-1 by the looks of it? Rowe, Nunez, Onel behind Barnes? Gibbs and Sorensen as the deeper midfielders? Hopefully Mumba looks good at LB, and Tzolis comes on and impresses.
Fisher is a RB so that's a like-for-like replacement, Placheta for Nunez I guess means a formation change.
Well taken strike from the young winger. Sorensen rides a challenge and finds Fisher galloping forward. Rowe overlaps on the right. His first effort is blocked but he fires the second into the net. 0-1.
That goal was pure Wagner - transition, counter, finish. Lovely. Comments from Pinkun text commentary.
Is anyone able to watch it? Does anyone have the £5 deal? Is it OK or just paying for endless buffering?
Didn't think it would be worth it for Barnet but may try it for Kings Lynn. Just before HT Placheta headbutted a Barnet player after being fouled, but stayed on as it's preseason.
Stacey and Nunez both warming up with the other subs, so presumably nothing serious kept them out of the starting lineup
