was Bairstows fault for walking to quickly out of crease ball wasn’t dead as got to wait for umpire to say over
Not a great look from the Aussies, but to the letter of the law it's a fair dismissal. Absolute brain fart from Bairstow
Nothing "wrong" with it, but I've never seen it before and I've been watching for sixty years. Very sly from Carey. Very sly for Ducket's wicket too. The law does not say " with the exception of the wicketkeeper", it says "only two players shall be on the leg side behind the wicket". Cummins was required to move one of the others if Carey wanted to take up that position before the ball was bowled. Again, very sly from Carey. Same old Aussies. ...
Yes. But players do this all the time when the keeper is back. The law says out, but if you claim that wicket, its no better than a Mankad, which I expect Broad will now try next test. Same old Aussies....
As I say it's not a great look at all for the Aussies and it's going to create all sorts of fun and games in the next game. Certainly spices this afternoon up
Khawaja and Warner were "involved in alterations" as they walked through the long room Furious Lord's crowd boos Australia after controversial stumping https://mol.im/a/12256057 via https://dailym.ai/android
Really poor sportsmanship. The coverage are comparing it to de Grandhomme’s run out last year. I’m not so sure it’s exactly the same thing as the action was still going on. Ponting and Morgan are saying clearly out, no fault to Australia and poor play by Bairstow. Annoying when the experts say one thing but I vehemently disagree! Yep, it’s going to be very fiery now.
Bairstow definitely makes a dead ball movement gesture with his foot every ball in that over, no way everyone makes a exaggerated gesture with their bat after every ball Same old Aussies
