It is a headline in the Guardian, so doesnt take much finding tbf.

To expel a labour supporter of 44 years, who wrote speeches for Gordon Brown and has spent his political life doing all he can to bring down tories, for liking a tweet from a green MP shows the current labour party in a poor

What you've just claimed there, in bold, is absolute nonsense ...

... you're just seeing what you want to see tbh.

Yep, sorry. It was a lib dem MP not a green MP. Or so the Guardian story says.

Anyway I am done on this. You seem intent on an argument so I will find something better to do. Maybe I will go and read something else and see what I want to see <doh>

Have a good night.

You're claiming someone was expelled for liking a tweet.

It's absolutely untrue.

Instead of admitting you're wrong you're playing the usual card of claiming I'm just after an argument. Then doing what people always do and claiming you've better things to do.

If you can't handle being corrected you should take more care not to be so wrong.

He is facing expulsion for retweeting a Lib Dem post.

You pretty much nailed it.

Fell said he has been expelled for liking a Tweet.

You're saying he hasn't been expelled for reposting a Tweet.

Two entirely different things.
The Guardian originally posted that he had been expelled but later changed it and acknowledged the change. Understandable that Fell said he’d been expelled.

Like, Retweeting. It makes no difference you knew what he was getting at.

Jess Phillips in a bit of bother, eh? Who'da thunk that the 'gob on a stick' type that Labour likes in it's women - keeps them away from the leadership, eh (white) fellas - would come a cropper doing the only thing they can do - make their mouths go without any forethought.

The quotes from Lawson never changed and he never said he'd already been forced out. Perhaps if you only read clickbait headlines you'll not understand the story. Lawson has only been asked to explain something so he may never be 'forced out'.

And, just because you claim there's no difference between liking a post and retweeting doesn't mean there isn't. Look at Twitters T&Cs.

Besides, if you're making sprecific claims,on here, you should be specific, not having to guess what someone's getting at.

The Tories are increasingly dropping the word 'hindsight' as if it excuses their actions ...

... ignoring the fact that that's why they're there. to govern and predict what will happen <doh>

"Lord Michael Howard, one of the architects of water privatisation, defended the decision amid questions over Thames Water’s future.

The former Tory leader, who served in Margaret Thatcher’s government, admitted that with “hindsight” companies should perhaps have been prevented from taking on excessive debt."

Wow, a hysterical woman having a hissy fit, on Twitter, and making a mountain out of a molehill, that's a new one ...

... 'Dear Mr Starmer, I'm writing a four page open letter to you,and the media, because someone had a row with me on Twitter.'

If it was a Tory front bencher accused of racism you wouldn't be able to shut up about it.

But because it's Labour - nothing to see here.

Nadine Dorries, wtf man <laugh>

She's holding onto her seat while she attempts to discover the 'sinister forces' that have cheated her out of a 'well deserved honour'.

No concern for her constituents, her duties there or the House of Commons ... what she's actually paid for.

No, she's happily said she's only hanging on for her own benefit ...

... they're predicting a disaster in the by-election but it seems she simply couldn't care less.

"Tories ‘could face biggest by-election defeat in history in Nadine Dorries’ seat’"

"Ms Dorries, who has represented Mid Bedfordshire since 2005, announced that she would resign last month but has yet to trigger the formal process meaning there is no date for the by-election has been set."

It's so she can name names under parliamentary privilege.
