Obviously a bit bias but I think it would be better for Clarke to stay at least another season. He’s only had 18 good months as a pro and that was with us so still early days. If he wants to test himself for one guaranteed season in the prem then fair enough on the basis we get a current market value price (imo excess of £20m). Hoping he stays though, think he’s our current biggest asset and not sure a move to Burnley would be the best for him. Interesting test for the ‘model’ with him being the first potential unwanted exit since KLD came in. Backing the club to make the right call either way

Must just be because of how much football manager I’ve played over the years but I genuinely don’t care about players leaving if the price is right, I’d be more excited about who we sign to replace them :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I get we have a good core and they’re good lads but big fees allow you to upgrade in more than one position. The fact people would sniff at £20m for Ballard is absolutely astounding, we might not NEED to sell but we will undoubtedly sell when the price is right because that’s how a successful model works.

Tbh we all know what 'the model' is, whilst I want us to keep the best players if we can improve the squad depth by selling, so be it.

"Could be in for a haply outcome on Monday" is very defined and ambiguous

Rabbie Motando available from rangers. Tipped to move to England.

Lost his way at rangers. Highly rated as kid. Only 22. I'd like to see us take a chance on him. Can play both flanks and through the middle.

    oh

it’s none of my business but I find it a bit mental that you’d ask on this forum what somebody is talking about on another forum without even mentioning you’re talking about another forum :D

I forgot to type it was on RTG - a mistake. Big whoop.

Other poster above seemed to realise and understand what I meant quite clearly like.

Plus, it was an open ended question. Obviously I wasn't looking for the official answer on here man you plum.

Like you say "none of your business".

its is really weird both on here and over the road....im convinced that many are simply not used to feeling optimistic about the club and its messing with their heads....so much so that they need to inject negativity in order that it may feel more familiar

People need to realise we are looking at higher calibre players than this. We've done our early business with jobe etc, which is class. But look at the type of players we've attracted in league one, Clarke and Roberts. And the championship, eg amad. We're the best run club in the championship, they know what they're doing. Don't let the short transfer silence get in the way of the players we are targeting!
