replacing the top scorer with someone who at this current moment is considered bollocks at this level is terrible business
In summary, the only things I've heard so far: Greaves going Oscar going Tufan staying Vinagre in Smith going to Lincoln on loan but probably towards the end of pre season Absolutely no idea about anything else. As I've said before, I'm feeding off scraps but hopefully a tiny bit of info is better than none!
I don’t want Clarke-Harris because he’s got a shocking attitude and is a bad influence. I’d take a young striker on loan from a Prem team as third-choice over him, yes.
It seems pretty clear that until we sell someone we're skint. As a back up/squad player, Delap is alright. He'll come good at some point as his scoring record in PL2 is outstanding and it usually converts eventually. Whether that's next year, I'm not sure, but it'll be a cheapish body to add and at least he's had a season at this level already. It's is a completely different signing if there's a buy option but I doubt there will be
He’s essentially a big Connolly, runs in behind, quick, links up. Just not clicked for him in front of goal yet. Remember him giving Greaves a torrid time in the 3-0 loss to Stoke.
Yes. Delap as a replacement for Óscar would be criminal but as a third choice replacement he’s probably a better option than Tyler Smith.
I think he's more likely a Connolly replacement as opposed to an Oscar replacement if indeed it happens.
No idea, he almost exploded onto the scene at Man City with the goal against Bournemouth in the Carabao cup. Then believe he got quite a bad injury and seems to be getting his confidence back.
This Ruben Viagre bloke, another jolly foreigner. Do we think he will be hard enough for the rough and tumble of the championship? Will he be able to keep it up every weekend and the mid week games too? Let's hope he's not a flop.
'Hard Enough'? Good grief Balkan!!! It's all about being 'robust' nowadays, where have you been for the last 6 months?
