Baffling. Where does he even play in that team? Not going to displace Bruno at CAM. And he's not a winger. And he's a rubbish central midfielder. In fact, he's pretty rubbish at everything anyway, but at least I could get it if he was moving to a team that needed an attacking cental midfielder.
You just paid the same amount for Havertz and Mount is twice the player Havertz is. And you ALSO didnt need an attacking midfielder/forward.

I was referring to the start of the season... at which point we had signed a goalie on a free to fill our third choice keeper spot ...

Faes was signed at the beginning of Sptember for £15 million ... we were already deep in the mire by then ...

Nowhere near as funny as you lot spending £80 million on Darwin Nunu then claiming he was better than Haaland after the Community Shield ... that really was hilarious ... but at least he guaranteed you a Champions League place ... oh but wait ... <laugh>
I'll leave you to your happy place .

I've seen Havertz play well. I've never seen Mount have a good game. I don't care about the money because both teams can afford it. What I don't get is why they want a player like that. For Havertz, I sort of get it if Arteta is planning on converting him into a CM to play next to Rice. Meh. I dunno. I have two United friends and they think Mount is **** and can't believe they're interested in him. Neither of them think Mount is anywhere near as good as Havertz.

It'll be interesting to see how United utilise him, and how you guys use Havertz.
I obviously hope they are both **** for both clubs :p, but it'll be interesting to see which does better.

West Ham are spastics.
To the highest degree.

Arsenal are splashing the cash though, this summer, £170m spent already.

Im glad we’re doing it.

Arsenal fans have spent years watching us scrimp and dither to sign the likes of Gervinho, Chamakh, Squillaci etc and get nowhere.

We’re back dining at the top table again now and rival fans will mock the price tags for the players we’re buying coz they ain’t able to do it lol.

It’s a ton of beans for sure.

Seems that’s whats needed to challenge £ity though.
You’ve been spending bigger than City for the last 5 years. Half of the premier league have.

City have never spent 105m on a player. You paid the same amount of money for Havertz as City did for De Bruyne and more than they did for Haaland. It’s not what you spend, it’s how you spend it.

If you think Arsenal are spending more on Havertz than City are on Haaland then you can't expect to have your comments taken seriously

Talking out your arsenal imo, Havertz hasn't done well at all. I agree that there a player in there but to to say he's better than Mount at this moment in time is daft. People are forgetting that Mount has been consistent in the PL until last season. The season before he got 11 goals and 10 assists, who wouldn't have that in their team from a midfielder? Need a manager to get the best out of him but Ten Haag seems to know what he's doing.

Beside all that I hope your right and that I'm full of ****.

Depth I’d imagine.

Eriksen ain’t getting younger and if he or Casemiro get injured Utd have to pick between McTominay or Fred… Mount ain’t amazing but a damn site better than those two jokers.

Well said Luv.

Don't know WTF @cini65 is on about, I don't know a single United fan that's ever thought Mount was ****!
