To be fair, their new signings are adequate for Championship level. They'll need to upgrade if they get promoted again, but for the second tier those players should be "perfectly serviceable".

I was referring to the start of the season... at which point we had signed a goalie on a free to fill our third choice keeper spot ... Faes was signed at the beginning of Sptember for £15 million ... we were already deep in the mire by then ... Nowhere near as funny as you lot spending £80 million on Darwin Nunu then claiming he was better than Haaland after the Community Shield ... that really was hilarious ... but at least he guaranteed you a Champions League place ... oh but wait ...

Baffling. Where does he even play in that team? Not going to displace Bruno at CAM. And he's not a winger. And he's a rubbish central midfielder. In fact, he's pretty rubbish at everything anyway, but at least I could get it if he was moving to a team that needed an attacking cental midfielder.
