Pau Torres to Aston Villa. Wow. They're going to be a force this coming season. He could play for City, PSG or Bayern. No problem.
Pretty much every fanbase say the same things, but what about Modric, Van Der Vaart, Bale, Erikson, Son?Spurs rarely make good signings though. They’d spunk the money on 2-3 flops. Just look at how much was wasted on Ndombele, Lo Celso & Richarlison. Also Davinson Sanchez cost £40million and has steadily got worse.
I still fear that Spurs will sign Harry Maguire

Apart from winning the 1991 fa cup with Lineker missing a penalty and having a goal wrong lynnhoug-0 ruled out for offside you make a great pointReminds me of when Spurs signed Lineker cos they wanted him to link up with Waddle.
Then Spurs sold Waddle and didn't win a thing.

You bid £70 for a £100m player and end up pay £105m...for a player who would only join ArsenalHe's a DM bro
£60m for a striker who's only scored 1 goal
Your undercrackers were set on fire with that deal![]()

I thought you needed some bite in midfield myself. No, lol.
MacAllister ain’t what we needed and we’ve already got Maddison now whilst still having Kane.
I should have caught up before posting ffsTalk about a Johnny come lately

Check out 1:52. £105mHe's the real deal. He's shown that for West Ham and for England, and he's still only 24. It's the right time for him to make the step up to a bigger club, but if I'm honest I never thought we'd get him because I thought he'd always end up at either Utd or City.
The fee is astronomical, but like Arteta said, you have to pay over the odds for top quality, so I think it's a deal that fans of both clubs will be happy with. His price tag will be mentioned endlessly by Spurs fans and fans of direct footballing rivals, but that's coz they are ****ting themselves as what he can do for us![]()

So what you gonna do, not sign any players ever again? Rely solely on academy players?First three were over 10 years ago, Eriksen was 2013 and Son was signed in 2015. From 2008-2015 Spurs signed some really good players but since then it’s been mainly brutal expensive signings
You made 2 signings in the summer actually though one i've never heard of and the other was **** in every senseEasy really mate ... last season we made no signings and Brenda made the bloke running his contract down to leave on a free, captain ... was only going to end in one way ... admittedly I still thought we'd have enough to avoid relegation ...
This season we've shifted out the big time Charlie's and are bringing in players with a point to prove (mostly younger) ... a principle over the last decade that has served us well ...
The fan base was the footballing equivalent of clinically depressed this time last season ... in marked contrast there is now a bit of a buzz about the place again ...

Gutted we didn't sign him
Munich could do we a player of his calibre
You a Bayern fan this season then?

PS Winks £10m and Coady £7.5m![]()

Once I can name 2 of their players, sure
I have Kane so far
Kim should be easy enough too.
Faes had a tough baptism for sure ... but he'd made the full Belgium team before we signed him and has stayed in it ... but you'll know much better than the Belgian coaches for sure
For me, he reminds me of Soyuncu ... who had a calamitous first season before settling in and then being terrific, culminating in being a key part of the FA Cup winning team ...
