Typical Chelsea fan, most moved onto City when the oil money came in and the same ones will be plastic geordies when Newcastle start winning trophies
TBH I was always worried one of your managers would finally realise that Rice was the player you'd been missing since Viera. None of the rumours of season passed bothered me as I couldn't see the improvement v the expense of the teams mentioned.
He's the real deal. He's shown that for West Ham and for England, and he's still only 24. It's the right time for him to make the step up to a bigger club, but if I'm honest I never thought we'd get him because I thought he'd always end up at either Utd or City. The fee is astronomical, but like Arteta said, you have to pay over the odds for top quality, so I think it's a deal that fans of both clubs will be happy with. His price tag will be mentioned endlessly by Spurs fans and fans of direct footballing rivals, but that's coz they are ****ting themselves as what he can do for us
Nah mate ... Fosse posted several times that if Maddison left he would join Spurs ... everything else was just mouth fart ...
Citeh don't really need him ... they've got Rodri and both Stones and Phillips who can play the defensive mid role and, in Rodri, they have got a better goalscorer ... but it was a clever ploy to bid ... your transfer kitty took a severe dent ...
They lost Gundogan, so they did. Rodri is class, but Stones is a defender. Our transfer kitty seems to be able to handle it, because we've bought Havertz and it looks like we'll buy Timber and possibly Lavia or Caicedo. Nice story though Flos And good luck playing Harry Winks in your MF next season
Stones just played a season in midfield ending it with the treble ... and Rice has played as a centre-back before ... ... but can't expect you to know that Ponks ... you thought you'd discovered a new find last season with Saliba, only for me to have tell you that he'd signed 3 years before ... and we are in the Championship this season and are cutting our cloth accordingly ... more than happy with Winks, always played well against us and was a regular in the Spurs team that got to a CL final ... him playing with Dewsbury-Hall and Choudhry will give us a younger and much more energetic engine room. Coady also in for £8.5m - a bid in for Joel Piroe (allegedly) and rumours that Zack Steffan is joining from Citeh suggests a whole new spine for the team ... Like most Leicester fans I'm looking forward to the start of the season, in marked contrast to this time last year ... All the best in your attempts not to blow another "unassailable lead"
Stones natural position is as a defender, and with Gundogan going, City will be one short in MF, hence the Rice bid You made a right ****ing hash of that Saliba issue because I pointed out to YOU when he went on loan You also ****ed up again on that issue saying he hated Arsenal as a result and would never sign a contract extension Thanks for bringing it up again though please log in to view this image
Gotta love Fosse waxing lyrical about Leicester's signings and playing in the Championship next season, way to keep ya chin up Fos! Rice is dreadfully overpriced, but thats how it goes these days. It takes the piss but Rice is a very good player and has the British tax applied. Seen a lot of people predicting Arsenal will fall off next year and not even be in the top 4! Not sure where this train of thought it coming from, probably more hope than expectation, but I cant see it happening. I dont see anyone but City winning the league, but even if Liverpool and Chelsea get their **** together and get back to the top 4, I cant see Arsenal finishing lower than 4th, especially if they get Rice
