Afternoon old chap. Nothing from me regarding signings. The people who have the connections are Steven Toast and HowdenTiger2. I suspect Greaves will go if only to free up space and cash for the summer signings.
so is it selling a couple of players so new incomings can arrive did see something the other week a possibility of Oscar going to Ipswich
Decent money for both from what I'm hearing. Rosie wanted to keep them both but has to sacrifice somewhere to get what he wants/needs to push on. Neither player has actively pushed for a move.
Not best pleased we’re selling Greaves but if we can get good money for him and buy another young, talented left-footed centre-half like Cashin at Derby for a fraction of what we sell Greaves for, I won’t be too upset. Likewise, I think if we sell Óscar we can get someone just as good if not better.
There's some very optimistic people on here. So we selling our best scorer and the defender with more potential por five or six players that can go very well (but probably won't) or can be like Connoly and Ebiowei. All of this against what LR wanted according to that post. I'm sorry to say that City is being very badly run. Tan and Acun are not good at football manager.
I've only heard it from one person so far so not going to put it out just yet as not to drop them in it, plus I always like to have things confirmed from a couple of different places so I don't unintentionally give false info
You think this is because the targets we want are otherwise out of reach or we wouldn't be able to do any business without selling?
I get what you’re saying. If we sell Greaves and Óscar and replace them with Sonny Bradley and ****ing Jonson Clarke-Harris, I’ll be annoyed. But if we sell them and get Eíran Cashin and Haji Wright as replacements, I’ll be happy with that.
Yeah I like many are aware its never straightforward. I dont mind the delay. What concerns me is we've been told we dont need to sell to buy but if that's changed then I would be slightly concerned
