Just for lols. Sancho brought for 75m and gets 5 goals in 2478 minutes (goal evey 495 mins) Anthony then brought in to replace Sancho and manages 10 goals in 3371 minutes (goal every 337 mins) Both worse than Nunez who cost less than both
Firmino 985 mins out of 3420 minutes in prem. 28% Gakpo 1465 mins out of 1980 minutes in prem. 73% So like I said, Gakpo was a replacement for firmino due to age/contract/injuries over the last 2 seasons.
sancho plays wide right of a front 3. Antony plays wide right of a front 3 Nunez plays wide left of a front 3 Call then why ever you want, they play the same position just on diff sides of the pitch.
Yeah but rashford is a defensive wide midfielder not like Nunez. United play with those classic non threatening attacking wingers in a 433 compared to liverpool so unfair comparison.
this is a more interesting link to me than 99% of the waffle about these days https://www.thisisanfield.com/2023/...-goal-youth-striker-tracked-for-over-2-years/
in the end the lfc model is to try to work within a set budget. other clubs seem to not have any constraints internally nor externally. right now arsenal are probably just about topping Chelsea in the net spend charts and must be in ffp danger. they've rewarded all their players with massive contracts and dropped another 200million minimum this summer.
well we seem to have a few that will eventually turn 21 but the brexit rules are now very much against us doing this long term. Other clubs have lots of options and are selling off homegrown players. They will struggle in future. Chilwell, sterling, (association) James, colwill, broja, hall all fit eh club trained. City have similar Scott Carson, Nathan Ake, John Stones, Kyle Walker, Jack Grealish, Kalvin Phillips all association players. Foden, Doyle, Palmer, delap all likley club trained. Alvaerez might actually be one eventually. Same for utd. McTominay, Rashford, Tuanzebe are club trained Sancho, Shaw, and Wan-Bissaka are association players they have u21s to make this up We are not in good order this season Club trained: Trent, Gomez, Jones, Kelleher, phillips. 3 of these are on the could be sold list Association trained: Henderson Van den berg.. thats it. We have a big issue coming where we need to have 8 players that are actually good enough. the future: Ramsey (is 19 now possible HG due to age), Bajcetic (18) Elliott (20), carvalho (20), Doak(18) The possible HG players I think we will sell: chambers, Morton, Bradley. (have already sold of or loaned Clarkson, Williams etc.
Sky reporting we’ve met with representatives of Dominik Szoboszlai. Know he’s highly rated but can’t say followed much of him. Seems to be bit of an all rounder and bit more creative / ball carrier. Apparently 60m release clause expires tomorrow so be interesting to see if anything is agreed before then otherwise I’d imagine value will be higher. Could be a quick deal in cards there.
another 10. I think carvalho is in play here to enable the deal and stop any increase in value but we won't be paying that release fee imo.
According to elfutbolero.us yes, big name in sports that youve definitely heard of before. Real Madrid can't compete with how much we're willing to spend on Mbappe... And we're going to be paying him £40mil a year... Yeah, thought you could all use a laugh Sadly, the article isn't parody. While Messi will earn 50 million in USA, what Mbappé would earn in Liverpool or Madrid | El Futbolero US News https://www.elfutbolero.us/news/Whi...arn-in-Liverpool-or-Madrid-20230628-0002.html
I get the overall sentiment of the tweet but unlike the Glazers, FSG have taken no money out through dividends.
