Arsenal sign Havertz for £65m and seem to have agreed a price of approx. £105m with West Ham for Rice. Now that is some serious spending.

I like the way newcastle operate they offer an amount and if they don't go for it they move on.

The last thing you want is clubs learning they can take the piss.. over time the sellers will learn Newcastle won't be played like a flute.

Think Rice is a top player me, really good signing for them. Fits right into a young squad.
Agree. Havertz I'm a bit less sure of though, so will be interesting to see how they line up next season. Expect they will be competing for silverware.

We set a precedent by signing Gordon for 40m, I honestly don't think he's a bad player or bad lad, but he's not proven at the top end of the game.

Havertz is a talented player, like really, he's just been involved in mostly a ****e time at Chelsea bar the decent spell Tuchel brought.

What, 25m more? It's not that expensive.
