Sunderland are signing some good young lads again, will be interesting to see if they can get themselves promoted.
We're not skint now - still got billionaire owners... just abiding by FFP rules ... as others may need to
He's younger so represents a different value... they'll see 60 million for 22 year old better value plus his wages will be half of what maddison will get at Spurs.
You chat like you've ever watching him play lol. Have you? I've NOW watched Tonali play and he's a talent, but this Szobigobbi fella? Never.
I've been reading Leicester are interested in lascelles and hayden. Proven championship players so could work out well.
You might need to bring in an experienced player or two. Keane did that when you lot destroyed the championship, used his contacts to bring in some top experienced players
I never mentioned it I just explained why they might see him as better value.. he played well vs England and in the champions league but I'm not pretending im nickson.
We have done really well with signings so I'm not anxious like I was when we had the previous owner. Not to mention, there is a buffer zone when you have crap tons of cash.
He looks like he should be in a German uniform marching into Paris tbh with his hair. That's enough for me, sign him up.
His stats are better than Maximins too so it can't go wrong. Newcastle probably won't sign him anyway... the media has never been right .
We are committed to working off the data. Our potential signings are in this. https://www.yumpu.com/en/document/read/68320733/sunderland-afc-data-driven-recruitment-plan-2023 I agree, though. We have older and experienced players playing CB but our midfield is really young. I'd like an experienced player in there.
There's no guarantee whatsoever that we sign Szob, though I have seen him play a number of times for Leipzig and Hungary and he's generally looked excellent. Would love to have signed Madders though and don't accept the argument that we moved our eyes elsewhere and "let him go". Everything suggested we were balls deep in for him and either he decided to go elsewhere or Leicester were more interested in what Tottenham were offering. Prospects are great to bring in but proven Premier league performers can't be sniffed out and Tottenham have themselves a quality player.
Liverpool are ready to rival Real Madrid in trying to sign Paris St-Germain'sFrance forward Kylian Mbappe, 24, with a bid of more than 300m euros (£258m), according to Fifa agent Marco Kirdemir. (Marca) Never happening
