Looks be a crowd similar to when I seen the Stones there. Full all the way up to the back path.
I’ve seen Elton John 6 or 7 times. He’s always been fabulous, and he put on a great show and has the best musicians with him. Not someone I listen to on a regular basis but I love some of his songs.

His voice is still great like. Also got Nigel Ollson on the drums. One of the very very best.
Top respect for genius song writing history....and he's also 77 years old.
His live concerts are legendary, still.
He does over 2 hours. Not many will manage that at 77 mind.

I was Nigels roadie for one night only and I know were his gold discs are, and they are still in Sunderland. And Eltons first guest also has a link to Sunderland
To be fair he sounds like Elton John but I don't think he's ever had a great voice.
I'm not an Elton John fan as such, but his performance is already comfortably the best headliner of the weekend.
