Chris O’Neill knows his estates development onions (and is a decent bloke from my limited involvement with him)
Hull City Council would like the idea of training coming to them from out of East Riding I’m sure.
Hmm…
Haven't we done this already, ad infinitum. The area available isn’t big enough as Hull Fair is regarded in Hull as an iconic, legendary landmark as the HDM would have it. Most other clubs don’t have these facilities anywhere near their stadium.
Even if Hull Fair cleared off it's not big enough for a club with PL ambitions. The area available isn’t big enough as Hull Fair is regarded in Hull as an iconic, legendary landmark as the HDM would have it. Most other clubs don’t have these facilities anywhere near their stadium.
It would if they also knocked the houses down opposite and closed Walton St. for good.Even if Hull Fair cleared off it's not big enough for a club with PL ambitions.

You should run for the council at the next local election. Screaming Lord Sutch was looking for candidates just like you.It would if they also knocked the houses down opposite and closed Walton St. for good.![]()
And used the test of the park as wellIt would if they also knocked the houses down opposite and closed Walton St. for good.![]()

What about an all year round fun fair, face painting for the kids and stuff? Could even have some goal music every time a new kiddie got their face painting finished. But still the idea is discussed as though there was any chance of success. Even if Hull Fair relocated there is not enough room for all that is planned. Then there is the problem of car parking, where to park away coaches…Maybe build some things to bring in year round revenue but the training facilities could be outside the city like most clubs are.
Oh well, Cas, its all over. Never mind though eh.But still the idea is discussed as though there was any chance of success. NoIs the old Sydney Smith school site available ?
Even if it was big enough....most of the players would be living west Hull or West of Hull anyway.... and as has been said surely it should be in some leafy exhaust free retreat.Even if Hull Fair cleared off it's not big enough for a club with PL ambitions.

Leafy exhaust free retreats are a bit pricier mind you.Even if it was big enough....most of the players would be living west Hull or West of Hull anyway.... and as has been said surely it should be in some leafy exhaust free retreat.
True Den'... and Amazon now have what would have been a prime spot...Leafy exhaust free retreats are a bit pricier mind you.
