Because it’s not the current trend. Football today is more fluid today in the same way the big clubs don’t really play with proper full backs eg Man City and to a certain extent Liverpool don’t play with a traditional way for the full backs."Old fashioned"? Why are wingers that can cross considered old fashioned?
I know we don't play 4-4-2, but wingers in a 4-3-3 should still be able to cross rather than cut in. I get what you're saying, though.

I’m talking about wingers such as Gillespie and Ginola who had proper strikers up top which you can sort of get with Wilson but not Isak (who is the future).
Don’t get me wrong, different options are great but we’re clearly on a certain budget and we aiming for quality and whilst we have positions that we do need to upgrade on then spending on players who in my opinion would be classed as tactic B players at this stage is not worth it.
Who's next ....
Tactic B players? It's not really just a tactic B concern when your best winger going into a CL season is Miguel Almiron, then followed by Murphy, Gordon and ASM.
