Now call me crazy here, but just had a very crazy thought RE some of the rumours being banded around recently. People have posted saying Adam thinks the Allams are crazy, Adam might leave Hull. Just read through Duffens twitter, and didn't really take much from it, until I saw a post from a few months ago saying he "wished he got to know the Allams sooner", which I then linked up with some other posts he made including an answer to TWF's question "There might be a job in Hull if you're interested" to which he simply replied "It's going to be an interesting few days!", coupled with his reports that me meets with the Allams regularly/occasionally, and thinks he gets on with them, then him being at the Brighton game in a city tie. Anyway I know there's nothing in all that, but started to pick up a feeling, could there be a chance AP might be on his way paving the way for Duffen to make a return as chairman? Christ that's a scary thought...
Does someone else want to explain why Duffen was at Brighton in a club tie? Cos it's not a rumour, it's fact he was there.
He's not actually barred from attending games. He's also been to far more Preston games this season, than he has City ones.
I could have gone to Brighton in a club tie, they're about £20 from the club shop, I doubt it would have put me in the running for chairman though. He's a just the sort of cock who would decide to wear his old club tie to a game, though I'm not sure why he'd try to gain access to the changing room, I doubt there was anyone in there who knew him.
As I said before, it's not as unlikely as it sounds. The Allams don't share this board's opinion of him, that's for sure.
I don't think it will happen personally, but it's not impossible. I've pretty much just added a rumoured 2 + 2 together and got 5, but if the Allams like him and Adams not too keen on sticking around it doesn't seem all that far out of the ordinary, after all he has got a good CV as chairman... And not sticking up for Duffen at all here because I think he's a ****, but the financial trouble can't be pinpointed solely on him, I hold Bartlett more responsible after all he was in charge and even if Duffen was ****ing about conning a few things here and there, Bartlett should have stuck his finger in and put an end to it. Duffen seems to be claiming that Bartlett was the one taking money from the club and that it was done after he'd resigned. Anyway, his twitter alone is enough to go by that the man has no ****ing idea how to run a football club, I don't particularly have any business sense but I'm sure I'd do a damn sight better than that incompetent fool, wouldn't want him back here if my life depended on it. Reading his tweets about the high earning players, and his reason for resigning was because he refused to plan for relegation, his attitude says it all really, ****ing thick twat. Maybe he could go and advise Ken Bates
As gullible as believing NP when he "told you" he's happy to be here? As gullible as believing there'd be no more signings before Waghorn arrived? As gullible as believing Adebola signing was "total bollocks"? As gullible as thinking NP told the players he was going nowhere? As gullible as believing McLaren was a dead cert? Please.
