So, some twitter random who includes the word "media" in his twitter handle claims 3 teams are in for Simms but the admits he doesn't know who?
Think he’s a sky reporter, loads of Everton fans seem to ask him questions

Shocked to see some still trying to underplay the value Ross Stewart has to this football club mind.

Hes absolutely tireless, he chases lost causes and is always running into the channels which stretches the defence and creates space for the lads playing behind him to operate in and be destructive. Of course he has the handy knack of putting the ball in the net too. Many wondered how he'd adapt to the Championship yet despite a campaign tore apart by two significant injuries he still scored 10 times in 13 games, a couple of those being sub appearances as well!

We eventually adapted to a way of playing without him, but it was no coincidence we were better on the road where typically the initiative was with the home team to be the one pressing and we exploited the spaces left, but as a result of not having Stewart we struggled more than we should have at home because he had nobody to stretch a defence and no legitimate central threat to run in behind. This made it all compact and more often than not led to us having lots of possession in and around the oppo box without necessarily having an end product or any penetration.

To replace what he offers us you're spending well north of £10m. If we can get him signed on to a new deal its undisputedly the best business we'll do all summer. I back him to come back firing.

Don't think its people undervaluing him, it's just people trusting the club these days. We are not a 1 man team these days and if he wants too much many than we are willing to give then he is best to go. I, like most on here, want him to stay as I think he's class but I do believe every player is replaceable. We might not sign a like for like replacement but we could sign someone who makes us just as good as a team as he does.

I'm totally laid back about his situation, if he stays then great but if he moves on so be it. I love that one of our 1st signings is a very exciting CF, who knows he might come in and be better than Stewart.

As i said I want him to stay but we still finished 6th in the league without him (pretty much with no CF) so that's what makes him replaceable imo. Think we all trust this recruitment team so much now thats why most are pretty relaxed about it all.

Giving Semenyo the no9 shirt is also a bit of a nudge for Stewart as well imo.

I wouldn’t pay 3.5m for Simms. Canny player but I would trust our recruitment to find better value than that
Same here, his finishing is class and he has the pace but the rest of the game is poor for me. When you are spending that you want a guaranted starter and I dont think he would be for us - obviously depends on Stewart staying and how Semedo settles but I think there will be better value for money out there

I 100% trust the club but I'm absolutely certain Ross Stewart can be the man to fire us to the PL and given he fired us out of League One I'd love him to be the one to be able to do that.

After that moment he gave us at Wembley I'm attached.

We did do well without him, but if he had been fit for most of the season I think we would of been up challenging for automatic promotion. He is 1 of the best strikers in the division
