Looking at the forum it seems everyone could manage the team and get promoted, the fact is 3 managers kept us in relegation trouble all season and I suppose anyone on the forum could hardly have done any worse. I blame the managers for picking four players, Wintle went downhill, Sawyers, Rhino and Romeo who happen to be the four that gave away 4 goals in two games.
Wintle started the season really well and yes he flagged but 3 different managers seemed to each give him a different role. Morison got the best out of him.
Rhino was a terrible signing. A complete waste of space. No goal threat at all; creating and/or scoring
Sawyers again a poor signing - a luxury player who looks past it. Mind you he won us 4 points with 2 goals against Norwich & Reading.
Romeo again looked best under Morison. He went backwards after his injury.
But you’ve missed one player out: Ojo. Hands down the worst player on our books.
This last season was the one that was supposed to be the one where Davies, Colwill & Harris broke through at this level. They all for various reasons flopped.
Whoever is our new manager will have his work cut out to avoid winning the sack race.

I agree as I was fed up with Ojo trying to take on too many instead of passing but then I saw improvement just before he was dropped again, at least Ojo has potential. We all want to see the young players coming through so that is one area where the manager is to blame.I think Tan will unleash the gods of war for next season, this failure will not sit well with him. The job at Cardiff is to get promotion not to save us from relegation. It would be easier to let the fans vote for the players they want in the team and the players with most votes are the starting 11.

Darren Moore leaves Sheffield Wednesday ‘by mutual consent’
This is a strange one. He has done a fantastic job to get them back into the championship. Unless he has got another better offer lined up I think this is a ridiculous decision.

Agreed....

Maybe he'll be taking over from Rob Page with Wales. Can see the axe falling soon if we look like qualification is beyond us.. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Really odd. He must have something else lined up. Done a great job with the Wendies.

Radio 5 reports he was discussing contracts and new signings with the board as late as this morning.
Maybe he wasn't getting positive vibes.....

As an outsider looking in, the only thing I can think is, the board while happy with getting promotion, might feel that they should have gone up automatically after being in the top 2 for most of the season. Maybe they think Moore isn't up to the task of managing in the Championship after blowing automatic promotion? It seems a harsh call though.

Agree. They might have done what we should have done when Warnock took us up to the Prem.

Harsh but then again this isn't just a game - unfortunately.
