Xhaka is leaving, Partey’s situation is up in the air and Elneny/Jorginho are contenders to leave too, according to reports.

I also think Lavia to Arsenal is probably the best outcome too, both for his career and for him not going to a club we have major grudges against. <laugh>

Arsenal are also in for Havertz though, and presumably a defender or two. That’s a fair whack in one window for them. Will they spend £200m+?
 
Probably too fairytale that he would come back and captain us back to the PL. Would need pace alongside him, but in theory a pairing of Fonte and ABK would be amazing. Not that I think ABK will stay either, but this is just fairytale talk afterall. No idea if Fonte is still up to it either. He seemed past it in the PL when he left us years ago, but has done well in France so who knows. Maybe he could still do it in the Championship.
 
Apparently Chelsea might offer Gallagher to Brighton as part of the Caiciedo deal - that would be good for us as means they wouldn’t need Alcaraz.
