Probably can't release him while he's still under investigation. Though it's not a criminal investigation they'll be making sure it doesn't leave them open to being sued for constructive dismissal or so on. I'm willing to bet he'll get peddled as soon as it's over though.
Im pretty sure you can as he has brought the club into disrepute. Not an expert by any means but that original video is enough to cause that to be appropriate
Don't think their internal investigation is complete and you can't release a player under contract without coming to a financial agreement. The optics don't look great, but it's an admin thing at this stage. If and when they decide to keep him it becomes a moral issue
There's a prize for the first person to guess which word he used 'La Liga is using a lip-reading expert to investigate a comment Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham is alleged to have made towards Getafe's Mason Greenwood during Thursday's game. La Liga says Getafe "filed a formal complaint" and will "act based on hard evidence". The incident came after England international Bellingham tackled Greenwood during Real's 2-0 win. A clip of the incident then went viral on social media.' https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68186145
Hahahahaha. Going to be interesting how they prove it disprove the comment like , and the sanction that they could impose.
Not a chance they will make it stick for me. The Bellinghams strike me as being raised well so people like Greenwood must seem deplorable to them.
