You can't really compare that with Gerrard going over there to be honest. Xavi was a superb midfielder, a generational talent who oozed class and won everything the game had to offer. Gerrard fell over.

 

Hard to compare the numbers when it comes to crowds but from the images I've seen I'm pretty sure we got more fans turn out when we lost the FA Cup finals in 98 and 99 than Man City did for winning the treble. We may now be a sports washing monstrosity but if we win anything at all I suspect it'll be carnage afterwards.
