Essentially that Pep can’t handle real individuals, he recruits yes men. He couldn’t handle Ibra and I’d like to see him with Cantona, Keane or Bowles. De Bruyne is the only one who stands up to him apparently.
Mmm......Ibra of the biggest ego ever. Not sure about that. Pep seems to hand out bollockings to all at times.
Right wing/ middle class. Split from Milan a century ago because they wanted to employ foreign players to win rather than have roots in the city. They are nothing like as bad as Lazio though.
Yeah, and the players meekly take it. Only de Bruyne has been heard to yell back ‘I’m sick of the sound of your ****ing voice’.
Ah ok. So are AC more ‘left’ or is it more complicated than that ? (I’m asking you as you’d know more than the various websites I’ve looked at) And the football is dull
Yeah, good pressing by Inter, but rarely can teams sustain the over 90 mins. It will be interesting to see how it develops if they tire 2nd half.
AC more left but I don’t think it’s as distinct as a few years ago. I had a straight choice when I first moved there - my first game was a 0-0 pre season friendly draw between the two. I chose Milan on the history but more because they had the great Dutch players and were obviously trying to play exciting football, a first in Italy.
I just think Pep has had it easy only managing the richest or joint richest clubs in his league, or at present possibly the world. His choice, and I don’t blame him, but I don’t know if he would have won two European Cups at Nottingham Forest.
Yep. Fascinating game of chess right now. Inter will want to keep it tight till around the 70th minute and then switch to more attacking. City will hope that Inter will tire allowing them more space.
It’s always a sell out, because of the footy tourists. Union Berlin (now a decent team) similar. Might be fun to do an away St Pauli game…some great places in Bundesliga 2.
