In tribute to my father in law, Dennis Errol Smith, who sadly passed away this morning.
Came to England in the 50’s from his birthplace in Trinidad as a 17 year old, and made this his home. Was one of the nicest people you could ever meet and will be very much missed by all his family.
RIP Den

Deepest sympathy mate. RIP Den...

Tony McPhee of the Groundhogs has passed away. Split was their seminal album back in 1971 influencing many bands afterwards. RIP...

I was introduced to the sound of The Groundhogs at a very early age, must've been 7 or 8, by my uncle who loved them...he gave me copies of Split, which was a superb album, and Thank Christ For The Bomb, for Christmas one year. RIP Tony <peacedove>
