Ah - but that’s why I knew he wasn’t coming lolTbf the transfer window hasn't even opened yet. We may think it seems to be taking ages but that's because we've read into him coming here well before it was possible to even do the negotiations.

i think Mac will be the left CM. Someone who is excellent at retaining the ball, solid defensively off the ball.
Despite thuram’s size, he’s actually better offensively than defensively. So he could be the one to play RCM to progress us up the pitch.
With that said, both are versatile and young enough to be play different roles.
He hasn't signed for another club yet......no emotional farewell at last game ......
Arsenal cannot agree with West Ham after Declan Rice agreed personal terms. Declan Rice's price is beyond Liverpool too. Maybe Rice have to remain with West Ham.

Was an interesting article on sky. Essentially saying he is in top 10 for both through balls and possession won in middle 3rd.
Bruno and KDB top the table for the first, but theirs stats for winning it back are no where need AMC. Rice and Rodri win the ball back the most, but don’t play anywhere near amount of through balls.
He also ranks in top 10 for possession won in final 3rd.
Seems like a proper all round midfielder - how most midfielders used to be in the 90a/2000s when you played 442 and the midfield 2 had to be able to do everything.
Proper versatile so could play any role in the midfield really as well. Play takes a good free kick and pen

Yes, what's impressed is his consistency, does very little strong during the game even when he's not having a stand out performance and he's got a good injury record. Touch wood. Very much a Gini type player.
from what i've seen of Thuram he seems to normally play from the left though from the limited amount i've seen (mainly youtube vids) if anything Kone looks a better fit for us imo .
He does it well though, very versatile and Thiago is superb when fit so it gives us options.
